Shipping (1).png

I ship using Reptilesexpress (www.reptilesexpress.com), a FedEx approved shipper, and ship only using overnight priority shipping. The packages arrive by 10.30 am to most locations but some locations that are considered remote by FedEx won’t see packages arrive till noon or later so please be aware of when FedEx delivers to your location.

I ship only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but sometimes I will ship out on a Monday. I don’t ship past Wednesdays to avoid the possibility of the animal(s) being trapped in the box over a weekend if FedEx fails to deliver on schedule.

I use Styrofoam lined boxes that are well marked to indicate there are live animals inside so the carrier knows that the box needs to be kept away from extreme temperatures. I will use a cold pack or heat pack as needed.

When I ship I check the weather forecast at my end, the client’s location and the hubs. I also check FedEx service alerts. If I feel that the temperature anywhere along the route is too low, or too high, to ship safely then I will not be shipping.

Attention: I recommend clients to pick up the package at their nearest hub if possible  instead of waiting for the truck to deliver the package to their home. This is especially important to consider when temperatures are really high or low. Appreciate your understanding.
